Hey every! For my first post I want to go over how I felt about each chapter. So I'm gonna do that.
I've seen a lot of people saying they don't like this chapter, and I certainly understand why, but I quite liked it. It may not be Chapters 3+4 good, but it is, as one I saw put it, "The pilot that got the show greenlit." (apt description if I do say so myself...)
All around, while probably the "worst" chapter (there has to be one), it's an excellent chapter and all around I liked it. Also Jevil kicked my ass.
Ch1 was a good chapter to introduce the story. Susie's character arc was fantastic, her friendship with Mr. Generosity (yes, that's his name) was beautiful, and the scene where they had to fight at the end was heartbreaking. Additionally, Ralsei's introduction to the dark worlds and the story of DELTA RUNE was great, and I love him. The end scene, where Kris pulls out a knife and grins menacingly at the camera to indicate to us that THEY ARE CHARA DREAMER FROM UNDERTALE GENOCIDE AND ARE GOING TO MASSACRE ALL OF HOMETOWN IN CHAPTER TWO was an excellent scene to end on, and immediately following that with Don't Forget, an absolutely amazing song, was a good choice. All around this chapter did a lot of things well, and I haven't even mentioned half of it.
Compared to later chapters, Ch1 was a snoozefest. While good in its own right, it wasn't much, and as quality of the chapters improved we saw just how much lesser this chapter was in comparison. It was very small (especially compared to later chapters), and was generally less exciting than its successors. Overall it's still good, and you just can't skip this chapter. I think having a low-stakes adventure for the first chapter was a good choice, and even in spite of its flaws, it's a good chapter and was ultimately only held back by being in the same game as chapters 3+4.
Chapter 2 was a vast improvement over chapter 1. First of all, it had Q5U4EX7YY2E9N, or Queen, and she was so [[Potassium!]] It was a very humerus chapter, even having an entire room of just jokes. Not even to mention Spamton G. Spamton, every buddy's favorite [[number1ratedsalesman1997]]. There's a reason he became the fandom's Big Shot, and it's because we love him. I hated the teacups (in the basement), and they probably killed me more times than Spamton Neo. Spamton Neo was a blast, except for that GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING HAND PHONES ATTACK THAT I HATE. This chapter also had the Weird Route, at the time referred to as Snowgrave, which I did but deleted because I do not want to get Charaed (same reason I will not do the Genocide Route in Undertale). Oh, and how could I forget: Kris didn't kill anyone bro why did we think they would. The reveal that Kris just went and ate some pie was funny. All around, a spectacular chapter.
Chapter 2 was funny as hell, we got Susie and Kris Sleepover, and it ended on a massive cliffhanger, leaving fans to spiral into insanity as we had to wait THREE AND A HALF YEARS FOR CHAPTER 3. This did irreparable damage to the fandom, and we will never recover. And it's only gonna get worse from here. Ch2 was also just fun to play. Another thing it did well was crush the fandom's crack theories, such as "Kris genocides theory."
Nothing it was perfect. It did end though, which sucked, but if that didn't happen we would never get chapter 3, and we also wouldn't touch grass.
Probably my favorite chapter so far. We got Tenna, Spamton lore, Eram, the game boards, and who could forget we fought THE ACTUAL FUCKING ANTICHRIST. The Roaring Knight was a horrible atrocity that I grew to love. I will be fighting the Knight every day until Chapter 6 releases. I'll become a pro gamer eventually.
Ch3 gave us Tenna, Spamton lore, game boards, Eram, the literal fucking antichrist, y'know, normal chapter stuff. It was perhaps the single greatest chapter so far.
As funny as the Rouxls fight was, it started to drag on after a while, and every subsequent playthrough I began to dread it. That is perhaps the only bad thing I can say about it.
Chapter 4 was good, but Dark Sanctuary can become stale after a while. However, with that being said, Gerson Boom and Jackenstein were great characters and I love them. Second Sanctuary was fantastic as well, and Third Sanctuary blew me away. All in all, an excellent chapter. Nothing could have prepared me for fighting A WHOLE ASS TITAN.
Ch4 was great at being ethereal and mystical and stuff, and overall the atmosphere was beautiful. Gerson Boom was an unexpected but welcome addition, especially regarding his and Susie's relationship; Gerson ragebaiting Susie into believing in herself was an excellent addition. Furthermore, the scene where Susie crashes out at Ralsei is beautifully sad, and I think it firmly killed any and all rumors of Ralsei being evil. I was a Ralsei fan day one but some people weren't and thought he was evil but they don't anymore :P (AN: if you still think Ralsei is evil then idk what to tell you m8) The final Prophecy scene was ominous, and the subsequent "Look Kris, I'm smiling!" scene was heartbreaking (AN: if you chose "Good. Keep smiling." I have no words for you). Of course, the ending was a severe case of tonal whiplash. At first I laughed, then I stopped laughing because what the fuck. My condolences to Kris :( All in all, it was a good, solid chapter.
Like I said earlier, Dark Sanctuary kinda dragged on a bit, but beyond that no complaints :3
I want to give Ch5 a dedicated entry, so I'll make this a *very* brief overview.

Some areas were a pain in the BIG FLUFFY FUCKING TAIL to backtrack through. Also Susie ruined Kris's chances with Berdly AND Ralsei IN THE SAME GOD DAMN CHAPTER (I'm not mad at the chapter I'm mad at Susie)
